This is a pretty sweet book. There are a ton of features in Visual Studio 2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010. This book does a great job of covering all of them that are related to Application Lifecycle Management.

Both of these books are great. Each has it's own unique sections, while at the same time they cover the same refactorings, smells, and Object-Oriented Design Principles in detail.

I posted a few sets of links a few months ago. Here is another list. There has been a ton of new info to keep up with. Topics - .NET 3.0, 3.5, Acropolis, TFS, AJAX, Visual Studio 2008, CAB, WPF, Silverlight, SQL Server 2008, Architecture, WCF, LINQ, MVP, Repository Factory, etc...

Although I never use Visio anymore, I found this tool pretty cool. It adds a new dimension to those giant project plans my project managers like to create.

A problem that I see with a lot of process instances (RUP, OpenUP, etc.) is that the templates provided are static word documents. I know that has been par for course over the years, but SPARX EA gives us a better option for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Enablement.
