Xubuntu Artwork - Ubuntu Wiki
The next release of Xubuntu is code named Hardy Heron and the specifications we are working on for this release can be found on launchpad (look for specs marked approved). Xubuntu deserves the same respect as Ubuntu, so we should work just as hard here as well!

(via)O objetivo do projeto Xubuntu é desenvolver um desktop Ubuntu utilizando-se o gerenciador de janelas XFCE, que por ser mais leve que o GNOME e o KDE, pode rodar facilmente em computadores com pouca memória RAM e capacidade de processamento, viabilizando aos usuários dessas máquinas usufruir as facilidades do Ubuntu.
