Q: What's the worst part about 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'?
A: It's really long. At two hours and forty minutes, admittedly, the length of this movie isn't the best. Three hours of your life could probably be better spent, you know, volunteering for a charity.

引: 《新鐵金剛智破皇家賭場》給我的最大印象，就是「破格」。電影的Intro credit沒有女人，Teaser沒有驚險刺激的片段，還有這個初出道的占士邦執行任務時的「笨手笨腳」（相對其敵人來說），都是與之前由皮雅斯布士南主演的四套邦片截然不同的地方。同樣地，電影片說「智破皇家賭場」，但是這個劇情已在電影約三分之二的地方已經完畢，最後高潮（威尼斯危樓的大打鬥）已是「破賭場」的後話，當然，對看慣過去邦片的人來說（如我者），這個安排與以往電影中，占士折在片末與大壞蛋進行最後對決的橋段，確是有點驚愕。
