When I found out that a fourth Shrek movie was being made, it made me frown because it seemed pretty needless, especially that the last movie was such a bore. But then again, if you take the storyline into consideration, this becomes a fitting final chapter to formally close the Shrek series. The movie is originally entitled SHREK FOREVER AFTER, but in other regions of the world including ours, it is entitled SHREK: THE FINAL CHAPTER, so it’s obvious.

Director Sylvain White keeps things true to the original comic series with respectable action scenes and a humourous script. The movie starts with “The Losers” being sent for a search and destroy mission in Bolivia. Double crossed by a mysterious insider known only as “Max” and all presumed dead, they stay in Bolivia until they meet sexy but dangerous Aisha (Zoe Saldana) who appears out of nowhere to strike a deal with them. The table turns when “The Losers” join forces with Aisha to track down “Max” and to get back their lives.

“You’re looking for obstacles rather than looking for magic” – that’s Georgia’s problem. Set in Athens, against the backdrop of majestic ancient Greek ruins, “My Life In Ruins” is a delightful rom-com starring the talented Nia Vardalos (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”), Richard Dreyfuss, Harland Williams, Rachel Dratch and Alexis Georgoulis.

when i first heard that they are planning to film IRON MAN, i was really not sure if it was a brilliant idea. i can’t say that IRON MAN have less “recall” to viewers unlike the X-MEN, FANTASTIC FOUR or SPIDERMAN. maybe it’s worth a try.

It really is an explosive film having both Jet Li and Jackie Chan in a film. Their fight scenes together will really make you move as you watch them. The comedy scenes are really funny like those in their previous Chinese Kung Fu films.

As I’ve read in the other reviews of this movie, Street Kings had the “Training Day” atmosphere to it, which isn’t that bad considering the praises Training Day had received.

Nim’s Island is a pathetic excuse for an adventure flick, which fails in so many levels due to poor acting. The story mainly focuses on how Nim tries to survive on deserted island all by herself when her father got accidentally lost at sea.
