Congress Facebook est un mashup de 11 sources de données pour un accès plus factuel et plus transparent aux membres du Congrès américain. L'application agrège de multiples informations pour chaque personnes : ses votes, ses opinions exprimées, etc. Mieux, l'application produit des données au standard FOAF qui sont ensuite réexploitables par d'autres applications.

Un WebID est une URI qui vous donne une identité sur le web. C'est une autre façon, tournée vers l'usage, d'appeler une URI RDF ou un ID FOAF, c'est à dire une description de votre profil à travers les standards du web sémantique.
