Some of my fondest (and only) memories of early childhood are of being read to by my mother from this book. All of the classics child story are here, including the Grimm fairy tales. The stories are absolutely wonderful, and they will hold a place in your (or your child's) heart for as long as you live.

It was a good child bible story but had a phony ending it was also phony that aman would willingly give up his daughter to a witch

The little match girl was a story wrote and meant for that century, to say she deserved it is harsh, i wonder and would like to find out if the man himself, hans, saw this kind of thing in his life to write so poignantly about it. its my best story ever because in those days of story writing they oviously wrote to the core without the guidlines of today, it is sad and thats what its meant to be of that time and i have cried whenever i've read it and i wud read it to my daughter and she would appreciate the horror of living in those times but also the loveliness of the extended family member that came to bring the girl to heaven.

It's an interesting story, but the ending seem so abrupt. I thought the soldier will choose the youngest princess.

I think it was good and i dont agree with mr grumpy-grumps who said it was too much for children because im a children and i read it and im not afected, well not that much anyway, hahahahahahaahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ............................ha

The story was really good however at the end why should he choose only that eldest daughter? he should have marrier the youngest daughter.

This was a good child story. However I don't consider the hare a hero. He was only willing to sit on the sidelines and complain. If you want things to change for the better, you have to participate in life.

His is a very colorful online bible and catches the eye of the youngster. I would recommend it for basic/early bible learning for any toddler., Moms or people with small ones around know.
