ATI Radeon X800
by 1 otherThis card seems to be a good choice for Linux users, with both dual-head and 3D acceleration. It is fully supported by the open-source radeon driver for 2D, and initial support for 3D is working sufficiently well for quake3 to run (e.g. in a default installation of Ubuntu Dapper Drake 6.06).
ATI provide a proprietary driver which as of March 2005 works very well to provide 3D acceleration even in a dual-head configuration.
