De 1º a 4 de junho, a PUC-SP realizará o I Festival Universitário de Games, com o objetivo de reunir experimentos em jogos produzidos por estudantes de graduação e pós-graduação dentro das universidades. Valem trabalhos para disciplinas, projetos de conclusão de cursos, inovação tecnológica ou mesmo games criados pelos por estudantes universitários fora do contexto de seus cursos (desde que não tenham sido desenvolvidos dentro de empresas).

Join the fun as computer graphics researchers and game developers meet at Eurographics 2006! Be part of the game by submitting a small demo containing interesting (preferably physics-based) interactivity with a graphics effect to the Eurographics 2006 "game room" competition.

Sony Japan is holding auditions to unearth new talent in the area of game creation.The Game Yaroze! 2006 (also known as "Let's Play a Game!") competition has been running since 1995.

USC Center on Public Diplomacy is looking for people to showcase their talent with a bit of world class game-making.
