Yahoo's Flickr Takes on Google's YouTube

FlickrThe Web's all abuzz about the pending closure of Yahoo (YHOO) Photos in favor of Flickr, the Yahoo-owned social photo-sharing site. But the real big news - buried at the bottom of a TechCrunch post - is that Flickr will soon support video, taking on Google's (GOOG) YouTube. It's a mystery to me why Flickr has resisted this move for so long.
