WEP was intended to provide comparable confidentiality to a traditional wired network (in particular it does not protect users of the network from each other), hence the name. Several serious weaknesses were identified by cryptanalysts — any WEP key can be cracked with readily available software in two minutes or less — and WEP was superseded by Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) in 2003, and then by the full IEEE 802.11i standard (also known as WPA2) in 2004. Google secure access on Mac OS X

On September 20, 2005 Google released Google Secure Access, a Windows application that allows users to connect to Google's VPN (Virtual Private Network) to make WiFi connections more secure. While google did not release a client for Mac OS X it quickly became apparent that Google's VPN client used PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol) which is natively supported by Mac OS X. Getting it to work on OS X was the logical step to explore.

La Freebox v3 nous offre une fonction de routage Wi-fi et ethernet.
Autant être clair dés le début, la Freebox ne permets pas les réglages pointus d'un "vrai" routeur.
Mais bien que trés simple, voir même basique, celle-ci fonctionne néanmoins c
