It was exelent child bible story and I LIKE THAT IS EASY TO understand and it has a very good moral.

As a child, I loved this child bible story's simplicity and beauty in and of itself. As a father of two school-aged children, a recovering liberal (former card carrying democratic socialist ACLU member), I rediscovered this book when teaching them to read. It became a fast favorite for both them and me as I rediscovered the underlying theme which is NOT about group work, group think, group (proletariat) struggle, a tale of the haves and have-nots, but about inculcating and promoting deeper, more profoundly moving and necessary values for groups and cultures to arise, persist and flourish. Values of contributing, coordinating, reaping what you sow, willingness to help leap off the pages and into little minds and can transform lives and political futures.The traditional telling of the little red hen not feeding those who didn't, who refused to help speaks volumes for the modern day compassionate conservative view of economics. You work, you earn and keep the sweat of your brow; you refuse to work, you don't eat, you can't expect to be rewarded with the fruit of others' labors. Simple, effective, subliminal, truth.It's a timeless tale of anti-communalism and pro-labor and labor's rewards. Read it today.

It is interesing and quite funny

A cute child story for kids... old-fashioned in the setting and the narrative, but very readable!

I love this child bible story. and then very interesting because tortoise was very smart. Japanese title is "USAGI&KAME".

This child story is one of my favorite stories. It shows us how our egos can get in our way. I read this child story as a child and look forward to reading it to my children.

I think this fable is so good and interesting. I think what happened in this fable happens always in the daily life. some people think that they are more important than others. they try to intimidate other people but always they finish losing. That's why I think is better be really smart and take the sufficient time to do things and do it correctly.

The child story was fun and exciting. The townspeople knew that there was a dragon but it never moved. I thought that the dragon was going to be mad and start a war with the people. I was glad when the people stopped suffering.

It was very good its good for young kids.

I work as a trainer for people who work with youth who have mental health; substance abuse; behavioral and delinquency histories. This child story inspires me as a source of perspective for new employees. All of our youth are beautiful; we just need to recognize the beauty and help them recognize it in themselves. Love it!
