Taboo TV/Movie Hijinks and Your Childhood

Overall, Mr. Magorium’s is a nice sweet simple tale. Nothing spectacular, but a cute movie nonetheless. If you go in with these expectations, you’ll be fine.

10 Steps for Surviving the Writer’s Strike

(via)
I watch too much TV. I’m the first to admit it (the first step for conquering any addiction is admitting you have a problem). That said, I don’t actually see myself giving up one of my favorite past times. At least until this strike hit. But as my favorite TV shows go dark one by one, I find myself in quite a quandary. So I’ve come up with my own 10-step (I know it really should’ve been 12) plan to avoid the withdrawal symptoms and help me survive the strike.

It seems like all the favorite horror films have the same ingredients — creepy bad guy that just won’t die, particular objects that give you the creeps, moments designed to make you jump out of your seat and the poor schmoo that doesn’t even know he’s going to die first. But even knowing the standard formula, could you survive a horror movie?
