User Guide to Nvu HTML Web authoring tool for site development

Charles Cooke's Nvu Support Site Nvu is a nascent, open source, ysiwyg, Web authoring system. I hope that this User Guide will both prove useful for new users and act as a reference guide for those more experienced. Latest revision 14-March-2006 Based on Nvu 1.0 The Guide is based on Nvu running under Windows XP. Available both in pdf and HTML versions The pdf version can be printed, if required, on either A4 or US letter stationery. The files for the guide are no longer maintained on this site but are hosted on an Nvu site. Your preferred route, when running Nvu is via the Nvu Help menu, select 'User Guide' Alternatively go to the current version using the link below Nvu User Guide HTML or pdf However! a - The hosting site has not worked since the last week in September (I am investigating why.) b - There is now a newer User Guide based on KompoZer available Copies of both old and new can be found via http://www.charlescooke.me.uk/web/ Also available Bugs I found HTML

Kallery Home

The idea of Kallery came up in my mind at the end of 2001 when I've started to redesign my homepage. I'm an amateur photographer, and have a lot of scanned photos. It is a pain to build a web gallery for them, even with a HTML editor, not talking about the generated code by such editors. So I tried some gallery generator programs, both for Linux and Windows, but none of them produced a gallery what I liked, and what I could use later on my homepage. I planned for a long time ago, that it's really the time to start learning something new, and to (permanently) change to the excellent Linux OS, and now that was the right moment for doing this. And I started to read and tried to understand the (not so difficult) API of the Qt and KDE. And here is the result, the Kallery - image gallery generator.

pynetfilter_conntrack - INL software - Trac

by 1 other
pynetfilter_conntrack is a Python binding of libnetfilter_conntrack. The binding is the file pynetfilter_conntrack.py and you have also a clone of conntrack program: conntrack.py. See also pyctd project. What's this? ¶ This python library is based on libnetfilter_conntrack, which lets you manipulate conntrack objects. In other words, pynetfilter_conntrack lets you deal with Netfilter's stateful inspection objects from the Python world. Practically, for the administrator, this means you can now easily close connections of your choice on your Linux [2.6] firewall. You can also receive informations about all connections (how many packets have gone through, how many bytes, etc.). You will even be able to create new objects in the Connection Tracking (this means that complex protocols such as FTP, P2P, etc. can have Python dealing with them rather than complex kernel modules).
