Do 0.5.x: As of GNOME Do version 0.5 all plugins listed as "working" or "stable" can and should be installed using the "Plugins" tab in GNOME Do's preference window. You also can manually install plugins by putting the DLL file in ~/.local/share/gnome-do/plugins and restarting GNOME Do.

GnomeDo/Use - Ubuntu Wiki

Start GNOME Do by selecting the GNOME Do entry in the Applications > Accessories menu, or by executing the command gnome-do. Once the application is running, you can summon it by pressing Super Space. On most keyboards the super key is the same as the Windows key or the Command key. If you'd like to use a different keybinding for GNOME Do, see #Configuration. You should see a dialog with a search icon and two panes in the center of your screen. The pane on the left is the item pane, which shows the item you have selected, and the pane on the right is the action pane, which shows the action you wish to perform on the item.

Xubuntu Artwork - Ubuntu Wiki

The next release of Xubuntu is code named Hardy Heron and the specifications we are working on for this release can be found on launchpad (look for specs marked approved). Xubuntu deserves the same respect as Ubuntu, so we should work just as hard here as well!

Direct Rendering Open Source Project

The Direct Rendering Infrastructure, also known as the DRI, is a framework for allowing direct access to graphics hardware under the X Window System in a safe and efficient manner. It includes changes to the X server, to several client libraries, and to the kernel (DRM, Direct Rendering Manager). The most important use for the DRI is to create fast OpenGL implementations. The DRI is an integral part of X.org 7.x, and integrates with Mesa, an open source implementation of the OpenGL API. Several 3D accelerated drivers have been written to the DRI specification, including drivers for chipsets produced by ATI, Matrox, 3DFX, and Intel. The DRI was initially developed by Precision Insight, Inc. (PI) in cooperation with, and partially funded by Red Hat Inc., and SGI. Since PI's merger with VA Linux, and VA Linux' subsequent exit from Linux, the DRI is being maintained by Tungsten Graphics Inc., a new company formed by some of the initial DRI developers from PI. Tungsten Graphics is the current focal point for DRI development, and many open source developers continue to contribute to the project through the DRI project.

kubuntu wiki

Kubuntu and Ubuntu are not meant to be seen as distinct projects; Kubuntu is part of the Ubuntu project, and they are both part of one development team that contributes to the whole. Kubuntu is Ubuntu with a different default setup, the Ubuntu CD contains only GNOME as a desktop environment; the Kubuntu CD contains only KDE, this is the primary difference.
