Gizmo – A free phone for your computer - Download Gizmo!

(via)
What is Bonjour? Bonjour was developed by Apple. It is used for local networking by many common programs, such as iTunes, iChat, and iPhoto. Bonjour is sometimes also referred to as Rendezvous, or ZeroConf. More information about Bonjour: * Apple's Official Bonjour Page * Bonjour Wikipedia article * Google Tech talk on Bonjour Gizmo Project uses Bonjour to identify other Gizmo clients running on the same network. Gizmo can then connect calls to these clients more efficiently. This makes the biggest difference on large networks (like company, or college networks). Gizmo Project does work without Bonjour. However, you will get the best results if you have Bonjour installed and running (which we recommend). Download Files Debian Package: bonjour_1.0.7-1_i386.deb RPM Package: mDNSResponder-107.1-1.fc4.i386.rpm Source Files: Apple Website Warning - The Avahi package conflicts with Bonjour. So if you have Avahi installed, then don't install Bonjour
