This book does a great job of showing you what you need to know to get started with iOS. When you are done with it you should be able to easily move into programming iOS applications and learning more advanced topics along the way.

Learning iPad Programming: A Hands-On Guide to Building iPad Apps, Second Edition Book Review

Although this book is written for iPad development, iPhone developers will benefit from reading it too. Almost all the core topics touched on apply both iPad and iPhone development. I highly recommend it to both.

iOS 6 Programming Cookbook Book Review

This is a massive cookbook with tons of recipes. It covers a ton of material and it covers it in depth.

Architecting Mobile Solutions for the Enterprise Book Review

This book is a smorgasbord of mobile information. I purchased and printed the Rough Cuts version as soon as it came out. This book saved me tons of time getting up to speed with the latest information on the mobile world.
