Another year has gone by. Happy New Year everyone. It is time to update my book recommendation blog. There have been a ton of books come out this year both good and bad.

I have decided to push out another book recommendation blog. There have been a ton of books come out this year both good and bad. Please don't the Shiny Turds Books that do not Cut the Mustard *-Do not Buy-* section. It is next to the last in the list.

If you are a .NET Architect, Developer, or Project Manger of a .NET team, you should have this book at your side.

This book does a great job of putting architecture into a view that .NET developers and architects can relate to.....

This book is very different than most of the book I have purchased on .NET because it covers XAML, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Silverlight, Ajax, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Workflow Foundation (WF), CardSpace, as well as the industry standard patterns Microsoft has incorporated in these technologies.

Attendees at MIX08 were provided with copies of developer tools and a fast download location to grab newest copies of the software. Now most of these tools are available for free download!
