You mean it's called "ISO-8859-1" in java.nio and "ISO8859_1" in !? Wtf!?

If you ever see '\n' in a UTF-8 stream. It's '\n'. Never the start nor the middle of a longer unicode character.

Invalid Unicode character #65533 »

#65533 is "invalid encoding". That's how you'll read any byte with its 8th bit set if you use InputStreamReader(x,'US-ASCII'), for instance.
