Je discutais samedi en marge de la journée porte ouverte organisée par le Mouvement Démocrate Parisien avec Clément Le Ricousse. Il me suggérait de m'informer sur le conflit en cours en regardant ARTE, qui grace à ses formats plus longs avait la possibilité d'approfondir les sujets ce que les autres chaines limitées par des format courts ne peuvent pas faire. Sur le site d'ARTE j'ai notamment trouvé la vidéo suivante qui fait partie de la serie "Gaza-Sderot, la vie malgré tout ". Excellent!

The Gaza/Sderot: Life in Spite of Everything Project is one of the prime examples of the variety of ways a bridge between different cultures and world-views can be created through online media. In this project created by ARTE.tv, a French-German cultural television station, twelve people going on their day to day business on either side of a violent border were exposed on a website for ten week project which ended on December 23rd.

Le site met visuellement face à face ses parcours dans une interface réalisé par Upian. On peut également commenter, partager et envoyer à un ami. Du bon travail qui ajoute énormément de valeur au documentaire en soi qui vaut le détour.

Chaque jour, pendant deux mois, deux équipes de cinéastes, l'une palestinienne, l'autre israélienne, suivent six familles dans leur vie quotidienne. Ce qui peut sembler un projet bien banal, est en réalité un extrêmement touchant et puissant eye-opener, une façon de casser enfin les images convenues, les discours fabriqués, et les stéréotypes politisé

Arte diffuse une série de documentaires, tournés des deux côtés du mur.
