Feature: Create Distraction-Free, Customized Webapps with Prism

Among all the projects available at the Mozilla Foundation, one little application, Prism (formerly known as WebRunner), hasn't gotten much attention. Understandable, in a way, because Prism seems like just a stripped-down Firefox window in which to view web sites—which it is, but that can be a great thing. With the help of a few utilities, web applications in Prism can be just as convenient to launch and use as your standard-installation desktop programs. Let's take a look at where Prism really works and how to get more out of it after the jump.

AutoRate : iTunes rating made easy

This application automatically sets the rating for all tracks in your iTunes library according to how often each track is played, and how often each track is skipped. Tracks that are frequently skipped are penalised, while often-played tracks are given a higher rating. This is particularly useful when using the 'Play higher rated songs more often' option with Party Shuffle, or using smart playlists.

Flow: Review and Giveaway | MacApper

Flow is an application that has been long awaited and much talked about. It was indeed billed as a possible Transmit killer by this very website. So now that it has been released, does it live up to the hype? Will it really be a Transmit killer or does the yellow and purple truck have some mileage in it yet, not to mention the many other Mac FTP applications?
