Once assembled, this kit -- developed by community researchers from the Public Laboratory for Open Technology and Science -- enables you to collect your own aerial photos from up to 1000 ft. Using the open source MapKnitter web-based software, you can stitch the resulting images into a web-viewable map -- your own "counter-cartography" Google Maps. Use it to tell a different story from the "official" map -- document contamination (it was used to map the BP oil spill) or wetlands loss, or to record a temporary condition like the Occupy Oakland encampment.

Après 15 années de vente de meubles à Lille, faites de plaisir, de passion et de rencontres avec la clientèle, Marie-josée Tournois a cédé la boutique à sa fille Isabelle le 1er Janvier 2010. Un changement dans la continuité après 13 ans de collaboration. Vous rêvez d’un nouvel intérieur, vous cherchez une ambiance, venez nous rendre visite au Grenier à Pin, magasin de charme à la décoration originale, installé sur deux niveaux à travers 300 M2 d’exposition. Notre équipe est là pour vous écouter, vous conseiller et vous aider à finaliser votre projet : salon, salle à manger, chambre, cuisine, salle de bain, meubles d’appoints, et bien d’autres choses encore…

A l'origine, bureau d'étude d'Architecte-Paysagiste et Concepteurs, nous sommes spécialistes depuis 1989 dans le conseil et l'aménagement extérieur, voir quelques-un de nos projets dans la galerie. Notre magasin en ligne s'est créé en 2003 suite à la demande constante et régulière de nos clients d'organiser la vente et livraison de produits pour le sol, le jardin, l'espace vert, la voirie,... afin qu'ils puissent être autonomes dans la pose (auto-construction ou faire appel à des amis) ou demander à leur entreprise d'assurer la pose dans le cadre d'un chantier plus important, ou encore de pouvoir acheter pour une seconde résidence ou un chantier un peu trop éloigné. Nous avons développé des partenariats importants avec les plus gros fabricants et importateurs de Belgique et de France afin de vous offrir des prix compétitifs, un service de qualité et rapide. Nous vendons principalement dans le monde francophone, en France, en région Parisienne (Paris), en Suisse et en Belgique. Néanmoins, nous pouvons organiser des transports vers le monde entier.

Ten years later, Manufactum's founder Thomas Hoof and the Thomas Hoof Produktgesellschaft separated from the group and established the Thomas Hoof Group, which since then has been pooling companies from the construction, forestry and agriculture sectors as well as several editorial houses.

Artist Klaus Haapaniemi and designer Mia Wallenius founded a design studio together in January 2010.  Their design approach is influenced by nature, Finnish folklore, fantasy and traditional decorative arts with a modern twist.  Focusing on Klaus Haapaniemi textile collection, they also work in furniture, fashion, books, events and exhibitions,  often collaborating with other designers and studios to create limited edition design pieces.
