A few favorites that focus on natural and human-made landscapes of the United States are Alex S. MacLean's Designs on the Land: Exploring American from the Air, Dolores Hayden's and photographer Jim Wark's A Field Guide to Sprawl and Alan Berger's Drosscape: Wasting Land in Urban America.

PROJET: maison à ossature bois avec remplissage en bottes de pailles et cloisons en terre crue LIEU : La Voulte sur Rhône en Ardèche LE PARI: une maison d'architecte de 207m² (surface du plancher) sur sous sol (70m²) et vide sanitaire (137m²) + 100m² aménageable à l'étage pour 135 000€ ( à titre indicatif, un constructeur de la région nous proposait une maison parpaing et laine de verre de 110 m² pour 125 000€) nota: je n'ai aucune compétence en bricolage et encore moins en construction ; nota 2: ma femme non plus COMMENT? - autoconstruction partielle : artisans payé à l'heure-je leur sers de tâcheron - nous achetons les matériaux - chantier de bénévoles intéressés par l'écoconstruction
