Le « pré téléchargement », une nouvelle fonctionnalité de Firefox 1.5, est exploité à outrance par une extension nommée FasterFox. Comme son nom l’indique, elle permet théoriquement de naviguer plus rapidement, puisque toutes les pages auxquelles on peut accéder depuis la courante sont déjà chargées dans Firefox. Sauf que si tout le monde fait ça en accédant à une page où il y a 79 liens - comme la page d’accueil de Gastero Prod - le nombre de requêtes sur le serveur est multiplié par 80 !!!

by 1 other (via)Screengrab saves entire webpages as images. Just install it, make sure Java is configured (Java absolutely necessary), and right-click on a page. You can save the entire page as an image (it scrolls around the page taking shots and stitches it together), just the visible portion, or the browser window. For examples take a look at the homepage.
