Sprint To Launch 4G WiMAX Network
(via)Sprint Nextel announced a partnership with Intel, Motorola, and Samsung to develop and deploy the first fourth generation (4G) nationwide broadband mobile network, based on the mobile WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) IEEE 802.16e-2005 technology standard.
