Hydra 1.5 | Creaceed

by 1 other (via)
Hydra is about mixing a number of under- and overexposed shots to get a natural sight of a scene. It provides human eye-like perception to your photographs by allowing you to create high dynamic range (HDR) images from a series of regular photographs, either from DSLRs or traditional point-and-shoot cameras.

PFScalibration :: photometric calibration of HDR and LDR cameras

(via)
PFScalibration package provides an implementation of the Robertson et al. 2003 method for the photometric calibration of cameras and for the recovery of high dynamic range (HDR) images from the set of low dynamic range (LDR) exposures. Tools provided with this software can be used for photometric calibration of both off-the-shelf digital cameras and HDR cameras as described in the MPI Research Report. A short tutorial on calibration of the LDR cameras and the recovery of the HDR images from multiple exposures is provided below. For details on the calibration of the HDR cameras please refer to the research report.

pfstools for HDR processing

(via)
pfstools package is a set of command line (and one GUI) programs for reading, writing, manipulating and viewing high-dynamic range (HDR) images and video frames. All programs in the package exchange data using unix pipes and a simple generic HDR image format (pfs). The concept of the pfstools is similar to netpbm package for low-dynamic range images.

HDR photo software & plugin - Tone Mapping, Exposure Blending & HDR Imaging for photography

by 3 others
If you have ever photographed a high contrast scene, you know that even the best exposure will typically have blown out highlights and flat shadows. Photomatix offers two ways to solve this problem: › Exposure Blending: Merge differently exposed photographs into one image with increased dynamic range. › Tone Mapping: Reveal highlight and shadow details in an HDR image created from multiple exposures. The tone mapped image is ready for printing while showing the complete dynamic range captured.
