Genau wie Kunst als Deckmäntelchen missbraucht werden kann, so ist es auch mit den Rechten, die meiner Meinung nach prinzipiell unbedingt zu schützenden sind, wie das Recht auf freie Meinungsäußerung und Religionsausübung. Natürlich soll jeder Mensch eine freie Wahl haben in Politik, Philosophie, Kunstauffassung, Ausdrucksweise, Eigendarstellung usw. Aber keine Freiheit kann grenzenlos sein, sondern frei in jeder Hinsicht ist, wer seine Grenzen kennt. Ohne Unfreiheit gäbe es keine Freiheit. Ob nun die “Freiheit eine Summe mikroskopischer Unfreiheiten ist”, wie – Peter Hille sagt, oder einfach die Möglichkeit ohne Zwang zwischen verschiedenen Möglichkeiten auswählen und entscheiden zu können, will ich hier eigentlich nicht näher erörtern.
