Village in Provence

One of the question was, how did they build the village. The streets weren't wide enough to let a car through. Actually there were no streets, just stone staircases.

L'estel Ferit - Barcelona

Near Port Vell, on the beach of Barceloneta, this tilted tower is called L'estel Ferit - The Wounded Star. It was designed by Rebecca Horn and erected in 1992. It lights up in the night and evokes an old rusty lighthouse.

Casa de los Paraguas - Barcelona

Rambla de les Flors. This was an umbrella shop, hence it's name : Casa de los Paraguas. The original owner became millionaire selling umbrellas, which is incredible when you know how little rain falls on Barcelona every year.

Cité radieuse in Berlin

In Berlin Charlottenburg, French architect Le Corbusier built his fourth Cité Radieuse, which was supposed to be the ultimate machine for living in. It was based on his Modulor concept. I asked, and people said that they are happy to live there.
