Campaign against "brownfield gardens" gathers pace
Campaigners are fighting development eating into the urban green space provided by back gardens, currently classed as brownfield land. The "Hands off my back garden" campaign aims to prevent the phenomenon of developers buying up houses with large gardens then building over the back gardens.

Aveyard leaves Barton Grange
Barton Grange has announced that head buyer, Rod Aveyard, left his position at the beginning of January this year. Md Guy Topping said that he was sorry to see him go but, unfortunately, since the company's reversion to two centres, Mr. Aveyard's role had become redundant.
