URI.js - URLs in Javascript

by Spone & 1 other
URI.js is a javascript library for working with URLs. It offers a "jQuery-style" API (Fluent Interface, Method Chaining) to read and write all regular components and a number of convenience methods like .directory() and .authority(). URI.js offers simple, yet powerful ways of working with query string, has a number of URI-normalization functions and converts relative/absolute paths.

by Monique

WordPress Plugin: Update URLs – Web Development Blog

by simon_bricolo
One common problem with moving WordPress to a new domain or directory is that updating the settings does not update the permalinks or urls embedded in the content. This means that images and other uploaded content will not show up! This plugin fixes that problem. It updates all urls and content links in your website to reflect the move to the new domain or directory.
