By default, Drupal 6 requires that you enter a path for each menu link you add/edit from the Menu administration page. There are cases you may want to create a parent item, without any path, that simply links to its first viewable child item. Menu Firstchild provides this functionality.

This plug-in was inspired by the extJS border-layout, and recreates that functionality as a jQuery plug-in. The UI.Layout plug-in can create any UI look you want - from simple headers or sidebars, to a complex application with toolbars, menus, help-panels, status bars, sub-forms, etc. Combined it with other jQuery UI widgets to create a sophisticated application. There are no limitations or issues - this widget is ready for production use. All feedback and requests are welcome as development is ongoing. The common attitude, that the UI deserves most attention because it is what the user sees, is flawed. Even a perfect UI will not satisfy a user if the underlying functionality is corrupt.
