Web FontFonts are built to serve most people’s needs, and often contain a huge number of glyphs. Yet most of the time you’ll only need a few of them! By dropping what you don’t need, you can greatly reduce the font file size to optimize bandwidth usage, make your websites faster, and reduce high-traffic costs.

My third post about typography in sci-fi has been gestating for a while now. Indeed, it's been slowly taking shape – you might say it's been forming itself inside of me – for really quite some time. There was a total of only 24 entries selected by the jury from nearly 200 submitted from 29 countries. These winners will will be included in the Annual of the Type Directors Club, Typography 35 and also included in 7 exhibitions touring cities in the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Danielle Evans is an urban Columbus, Ohio native. She derives great pleasure in walking everywhere, taking food photos on instagram, and being 'the cool aunt'. Her heartstrings are plucked by lettering and typography, which she exhibits through brush pen, paper cutting and most notably, dimensional type. She art directs, food styles, and collaborates with personable and quirky clients to achieve authentic, evocative, and approachable work for editorials and advertising.

In many respects, Gregg is even more ingenious than the smartpen. And, although no electronics or gizmos were involved, it was a tremendously powerful and influential technology for nearly 100 years. Now, it’s become the key to my workflow in the Internet age.
