Free Zzed download game | No Zzed full cracks or serials - ChocoSnow.com

by mrsnow
Zzed is a new type of puzzler-shooter games that require quick thinking, good reaction and excellent stress management skills. If space waste management carrier sounds good to you (I promise, it's fun), then download Zzed and start busting away. Space waste management may not sound like the most exciting carrier in the universe, but Zzed had to take the job to be able to marry his lovely green alien sweetheart. At the time, he did not know that his boss was the most corrupted extraterrestrial west of Sirius. And when he found out, he got sent away to the farthest corners of his galaxy, where he was sure to get crushed by space garbage. Will he die? It's up to you now. Even alien love stories need to have a happy end.

Boeing joins UQ scramjet project. 08/01/2007. ABC News Online

Last Update: Monday, January 8, 2007. 8:00pm (AEDT) Boeing joins UQ scramjet project The Boeing aviation company has teamed up with scientists from the University of Queensland to further develop their scramjet rocket technology. The supersonic engine is capable of speeds up to 8,000 kilometres-an-hour, and could cut flight times between Australia and the UK to just a few hours. The UQ Centre for Hypersonics was the first in the world to achieve verified supersonic combustion of a scramjet in flight. Dr Kevin Bowcutt from the joint US and Australian research program says scramjet space visits may only be 15 years away, but the priority is to reduce international flight times. "Well that's my dream and my goal, that one day we'll be able to travel between say Los Angeles and Brisbane in two hours and to go into space routinely and affordably," he said. "Today [space travel costs], depending on the rocket you use, $3,000 to $5,000 per pound of payload that you're taking into space. "A goal that I have is to try to figure out how to make it cost $100 or $200 per pound to go into space." Print-friendy versionPrint Send to a friendEmail

KDirStat : graphical disk usage utility

by clochix
KDirStat is a graphical disk usage utility, very much like the Unix "du" command. In addition to that, it comes with some cleanup facilities to reclaim disk space. While KDirStat is a KDE program, it runs fine on every X11 desktop, i.e., it runs on Linux, BSD, and lots of other Unix-type systems (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, ...).
