WebShare est un projet open source écrit en Ajax/PHP créé pour gérer et administrer des documents web hébergés sur un serveur FTP. Comme tout explorateur de fichier classique, les éléments sont affichés sous forme d'icones, l'arborescence et le menu contextuel permettant d'effectuer toutes les actions courantes. Le logiciel peut être très pratique pour partager ses fichiers, ou créer un espace privé accessible par le web afin d'avoir sous la main tous ses documents depuis n'importe quel ordinateur doté d'une connexion Internet. Webshare permet aussi de transférer très facilement des fichiers volumineux d'un ordinateur à l'autre.
