OpenXML4J is a Java library dedicated to the creation and manipulation of Office Open XML (ECMA-376) and OPC based documents (for example Office 2007 Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents). OpenXML4J provides you a way to create and manipulate Open XML documents for a bunch of scenarios without using any office suite.

PHPOX is an Object-Oriented library to generate Word Documents of Office directly from PHP code, you can build word documents with information from your Databases.

L'éditeur propose un "plug-in" open source permettant d'ouvrir et de sauvegarder avec Office 2007 des fichiers au format OpenDocument. Un projet similaire est en cours de développement pour Excel et PowerPoint.

The Ecma International Technical Committee (TC45) is working to establish a standard for Office Open XML File Formats.

Today I'm going to focus on Word. Obviously there is a huge set of features and functionality in Word, and I won't really be able to do much more than just scratch the surface today (but hopefully this will be a good start).

My goal is to save you some time in getting started with the spec if you're 100% new to Office Open XML.
