Thirteen of the FTSE 100 homepages that we tested were broken in IE7 - although not significantly so. Problems ranged from warped page layouts (Alliance and Leicester) to small presentation glitches (Hanson).

ERSOnline-Microsoft's security direction in doubt

IE7 Release Elicits A Solid "Meh"

As a FireFox user, I can't be bothered to care about such things. My day today will be much too full with gloating and elitism to worry about IE7. I will probably be starting more than a few sentences with "Did you know FireFox already..." I'll make people take note that IE7's new features such as tabbed browsing, and an integrated RSS feed reader have been an integral part of FireFox for quite a while. I love using the word "integral".

The news that IE7 will be released this month is big in the blogosphere at the moment, but serious web browsers will be looking towards Mozilla for news about Firefox 2.0 which is also due to be released soon. Release Candidate 2 is now available and brings several new features which will be welcomed by new and existing users alike.
