Le filtrage des outils de communication, pris en compte dans les outils de sécurisation Si l’on résume ces trois articles, on comprend que lorsque la Hadopi dressera la liste des moyens de sécurisations, les fameux « pare-feux » selon la mauvaise expression de Christine Albanel, elle devra tenir compte des solutions développées dans le monde de la communication électronique, et donc du streaming, de la messagerie instantanée et de la messagerie email. Cela signifie encore que les outils de sécurisation que devront installer de grès ou de force les abonnés internet sauront à même de surveiller et contrôler voire interdire les échanges par ces biais afin d’éviter les abus définis par cette fameuse Hadopi déjà bien occupée. C’est une lecture qu’on pourra considérer comme paranoïaque, notamment au regard du secret des correspondances, mais c’est typiquement le genre de trappe qui se cache dans ce fameux texte dont tant d’artistes chantent les louanges.

One of the latest software errors that had widely noticed consequences was Google’s Gmail outage in February. The problem in that case was, according to Google, a bug in the software that distributed load between its different data centers.
The Gmail outage only resulted in people not having access to their email for a few hours. No one got killed. Nothing exploded. It was an inconvenience, and while it was a significant inconvenience for some of Gmail’s users, it was still just that: an inconvenience.
This article is about some of the more dire consequences of software errors through the years. Incidents that make the Gmail outage seem rather trivial.

Adobe PDF Conversion by Email Attachment If the Adobe PDF file is on local media, such as a hard drive, CD-ROM, or internal server, it can be submitted as a MIME attachment to an e-mail message. All converted Adobe PDF documents will be sent back to the sender as MIME attachments. For plain text, mail the attached PDF to pdf2txt@adobe.com. For HTML, mail the attached PDF to pdf2html@adobe.com.
