NetBeans for PHP : weblog
The work for supporting for Symfony PHP Framework in NetBeans 6.8 is finished. This should make Netbeans the default editor for PHP developers, far before Eclipse.
As for me, I'll stick to Textmate :)

Short Description
Navigate images using a pageable thumbnail window. Change brightness and contrast, change color intensity, saturation, depth, make panoramas and HDR images, fix red-eyes, trim, rescale, rotate, warp, fix perspective, sharpen, blur, remove noise, add artistic effects. Edit within mouse-selected area. Import RAW files, edit 16 bits/color. Add tags to images, search by tags, dates, and star-ratings.
Subtitle Editor
Subtitle Editor is a GTK 2 tool to edit subtitles for GNU/Linux/*BSD. It can be used for new subtitles or as a tool to transform, edit, correct and refine existing subtitle. This program also shows sound waves, which makes it easier to synchronise subtitles to voices.
