Breve análise do SliTaz GNU/Linux Quando me sugeriram que analisasse o SliTaz GNU/Linux, não reagi com muita empolgação: o SliTaz, aquele com o ícone da aranha? Acabei dando uma olhada no site do projeto para conferir o que o projeto tinha a oferecer, e tive uma grata surpresa. A proposta do projeto de encaixar um desktop moderno em uma imagem de 30 MB já era uma coisa impressionante, assim como o visual profissional e amigável, fácil de navegar, e a ampla variedade de idiomas suportados (seis). Mas o que me surpreendeu ainda mais foi a forma de comunicação clara apresentada.

Experimentando o sidux Artigos O sidux já estava na minha lista de distribuições a serem analisadas faz tempo. É um projeto pequeno, que se esforça audaciosamente para transformar o repositório do Debian Unstable em um sistema operacional funcional para o dia a dia. Pero también como siempre, no hay imágenes ISO oficiales de esta nueva versión preliminar. Sin embargo, imágenes "no oficicales" (en formato de DVD) de slackware-current pueden descargarse de aquí, incluyendo su nueva versión de 64 bits. Nuevas imágenes se actualizan en ese mismo lugar todos los Martes.

GNUstep (this is a live CD, an operating system, a distribution) contains a lot of software for GNUstep, a free implementation of the OPENSTEP framework (which was also the base as Cocoa in Mac OS X). It includes an excellent application called Gorm for RAD (Apple Software Design Guidelines). More about the Objective-C Language. More on OPENSTEP and GNUstep. Why? The currently used window manager is Window Maker. Read this very informative article about what GNUstep is.
