The easiest way to PNG support in your default browser is use Firefox

This PNG-24 image with alpha transparency is displayed by using the PHP function mentioned above. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) on a Windows platform, you will notice that the gray background shown in the first instance of this image is now gone.

Support (X)HTML, CSS, DOM, XLM, RSS... pour IE 6, Firefox 1.0 et Opera 8 (une pétition à signer pour Safari). Très complet !

Objectif : réaliser un menu déroulant XHTML + CSS (sans javascript) avec fonds transparents. Inconvénients : seuls quelques navigateurs récents (Mozilla/Firebird, Safari) seront capables de rendre ce menu correctement. En contre-partie, comme IE Windows n'affichera pas les sous-menu, il y a possibilité d'utiliser des PNG avec transparence alpha.
