l'épaisseur des images: pliage

by karlcow

BLDGBLOG: Book of Space

by karlcow & 1 other

Pepakura - Logiciel d'Origami Virtuel - (Le « pepakura », autrement appelé « papercraft » ou « papertoy » ) - Recherche Google

by decembre

Papercraft Self Portrait - Art Portfolio for Eric Testroete

by karlcow

I made this as my costume for Halloween 2009. It was kind of inspired by big-head mode seen in videogames. I really wanted to get the faceted geosphere look with wireframe.

Kyoko Okubo

Kyoko Okubo

Kyoko Okubo's small, gentle figures are meticulous crafted from washi, the traditional paper of Japan. Her diminutive, symbolic self-portraits resonate with intensity and challenge the imagination.

the figures

by karlcow

This series is about the topography of money in human consciousness, the constant parade of numbers in everyday life. The figures are at once imaginary and very real. I’m interested in the power numbers have in our lives, and how much they dictate, both psychologically and actually.
