smart folder?In desktop email clients, new messages arrive completely bereft of context. The only way to orient yourself is to either remember what the conversation was about or read through the mess of quoted text that may or may not be present at the bottom of the message, depending on what kind of email client or prefences the sender has. You could try searching to re-orient yourself, but good luck with that in Outlook or Mail.app.

Article très moyen, il mélange des problèmes liés aux technos et des problèmes liés aux fonctionnalitées que les personnes choisissent de développer. Il avoue à mi-chemin que quand il dit "webmail" il ne pense pas "webmail" mais "Gmail", sans pour autant préciser à aucun moment que Gmail dans l'écosystème mail est un bien piètre acteur si on le mesure à son implémentation IMAP (sans parler de sa capacité à s'écrouler malgré son architecture dans les nuages).
