Depuis la version 4.1.1, la recherche en texte intégral supporte l'extension de requête (en particulier la variable dite ``extension aveugle''). C'est généralement utile lorsque la phrase de recherche est trop courte, ce qui signifie que l'utilisateur sous-entend des informations. Par exemple, un utilisateur qui recherche ``database'' peut en fait rechercher ``MySQL8'', ``Oracle'', ``DB2'' ou encore ``RDBMS'' : ce sont des solutions qui doivent être liées à ``databases'' et être retournée. C'est de l'information implicite. L'extension de requête aveugle (dite aussi, pertinence automatique), fonctionne en faisant la même recherche 2 fois : la seconde fois, la recherche est complétée avec les mots les plus fréquents des premiers résultats. Par conséquent, si un de ces document contenait ``databases'' et ``MySQL'', la seconde recherche va rechercher les documents qui contiennent ``MySQL'' mais pas ``database''.

C'est toujours fatigant de faire appel à plusieurs sources pour accéder aux diverses références des multiples langages de conception des pages web. Il existe plusieurs alternatives à ce type d'outil mais là on a le choix ! Par exemple pour le langage HTML on a la doc de htmlhelp.com, MSDN ou le W3C. C'est bien pensé !

There are a lot of mistakes in the SVG documents currently found on the Web. Because Adobe's SVG Viewer ignores many of these errors, the maintainers of these documents usually don't realise when they're doing something wrong. Unfortunately, the result is that far too often SVG on the Web doesn't work in Mozilla, Batik or one of the other SVG implementations. It is important that these problems are addressed as soon as possible to prevent them from propagating into authoring tools and the SVG documents that people will write in the future. This document highlights some of the most common mistakes made in SVG content, and explains what SVG maintainers can do to fix them. The hope is that the SVG community will read this document, and that individual members of the community will do what they can to make sure that SVG on the Web is as portable as possible. Please spread the word. If you see others making any of the mistakes described here, please let them know so that they can correct them.
