Aziz Ansari is Bored.

Tomorrow at Aziz Ansari and Friends, my roommates Merlin and Zach will be joining me for some bits. We were talking last night and decided its time for a sequel to the Shittiest Mixtape contest. Many people email me saying they could think of way better songs, etc. Well - here you go - post the songs you think would be good on the comments of this thread. Zach will read it and pick the 5 most popular from the list. (Only post one song in each comment). The key to these songs is that they should be pretty recognizable, although some weird Hungarian tuba troupe's music is real shitty, it just wouldn't work.

Knocking Out the Knockoffs

calendarlive.com: Architect of the Oscars

Tad Scripter has a job that no one can explain. Not even himself, or at least not easily. According to his all-access backstage Academy Awards credentials, he is the Engineer in Charge. This means, as near as anyone can figure it, that he is responsible for ensuring that all the people and equipment needed to make the show happen, from a technical standpoint at least, are present and working.

iSuckMP3Blogs - Simple WGet GUI (for Mac)

by 1 other
iSuckMP3Blogs is a hastily-named Application (Written in Applescript Studio) that uses Jeff Veen's intelligently constructed wget command to suck down only the new MP3's from your favorite blogs. The mp3s all end up in a folder called 'SuckedMP3s' on your desktop.

MC Hammer: Art Of The Dance

(via)
One "goes dumb" because he can escape the reality of feeling abandoned and left out from a society that isn't addressing his pain and frustration. The lack of hope, opportunity and employment eats at a man's conscience and psyche like maggots on the dead. My value and contribution to family and community is found in my ability to provide for my family and support the community with resources. I escape the pressures of this reality momentarily in my dance. In the dance I let go and I'm free.

Lili (1953)

The earliest known appearance of the "smiley" emoticon, :-), was in an ad for this film in the New York Herald Tribune on 10 March 1953, page 20, columns 4-6. The film opened nationwide, and this ad possibly ran in many newspapers. It read: Today You'll laugh :-) You'll cry :-( You'll love <3 'Lili'" This should not be confused with the graphical yellow "smiley face", which was first drawn by Harvey Ball some 10 years later.

A theme a day - If..Else Log

by 2 others (via)
One of the things that I like best about Wordpress is the fantastic theme system which make developing and deploying site designs a doddle. I'm going to take advantage of that ease of use by embarking on an experiment I'm going to call 'a theme a day' week. Every day this week, I'm going to design and give away a WP theme ready for you to use on your blog.

Technosailor » MySpace is NOT Going to Rule the World

MySpace may have a large and growing community and business potential, but the business model cannot continue to maintain its growth rate or it will collapse in on itself. It may already be doing so.

americanidol: . . quick question

I'm sorry if this isn't something that I should post here, but I couldn't find anywhere else. I've never voted for anyone on American Idol, and I don't have Cingular, so I can't text. Long story short, I have social anxiety disorder, and I have this fear talking to strangers on the phone.
