Principe : Voir directement le disque dur de votre freebox depuis votre PC sous Windows.. Permet d'utiliser FTP de manière transparente, visible dans l'explorateur Windows comme n'importe quel disque dur local ! Limites : Les fichiers enregistrés provenant de chaînes payantes (ex: Paris Première) ne sont pas visibles via Ftp. Lorsqu'on ouvre un fichier sur le disque ftp, le transfert ftp se lance en tâche de fond. Ce fonctionnement convient bien aux fichiers de type .ts, puisque la lecture démarre immédiatement, et qu'il est possible de faire avance rapide dans la partie du fichier qui est arrivée en local (ex: avec mplayer). Par contre, pour un fichier .avi : la lecture ne démarre que lorsque le fichier est entièrement arrivé (testé avec mplayer et vlc), soit la lecture démarre mais il n'est pas possible de se déplacer dans la vidéo.
