Le consortium de standardisation publie un document de travail portant sur un langage de modélisation XML pour structurer les thésaurus, plans de classement de contenu, folksonomies, et taxonomies. Baptisé SKOS (pour Simple Knowledge Organization System Primer), ce langage a pour but de faciliter la migration des bases de documents existantes vers les technologies du Web sémantique, en reprenant les méthodes traditionnelles de la gestion de fonds documentaires.

My wife requested that I post a particular Monty Python skit on the site. Well, posting just one Python video is right out! No, here at One Man’s Institute for the Exceptional Documentation of Silly Time Wasting Videos we have a rule that one shall post no fewer than 150 videos - and the number of videos posted shall be 150. Therefore, being that my wife is an HR manager and has to interview tons and tons of mackerels, and furthermore since she gets a kick out of Monty Python’s classic Silly Job Interview… RIGHT! On with it then! (In fact, as I understand it she conducts all of her own interviews in this manner. Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink. Say no more.)

The AppFuse Team is pleased to announce the release of AppFuse 2.0 RC1! This release marks a huge step in the march to releasing AppFuse 2.0. This release puts the finishing touches on the AppFuse Maven Plugin (AMP), which offers CRUD generation, as well as the ability to change AppFuse from "embedded mode" to "full source" (like 1.x). In addition, we've addressed over 100 issues in preparation for the final 2.0 release. We hope to fix any bugs related to this release and release 2.0 Final in the next week or two.

As REST principals and Web Oriented Architecture concepts are in the process from migrating from the geek edge to the enterprise mainstream, in a recent interview, IBM WebSphere CTO Jerry Cuomo has been saying that they have become a core focus for IBM in Project Zero, which "introduces a simple environment for creating, assembling and running applications based on popular Web technologies."
