Yet another Twitter API 1.1 compliant timeline RSS/JSON feed builder, meant to continue the Autoblog Project's Twitter support

This infographic allows you to explore the categories of information that various social networks make available to other applications. If you log in to a Web site with your Twitter account, this is what Twitter sends about you to the site. If you play Farmville on Facebook, this is what is sent to Farmville. Those applications, in turn, often give data about your activities back to the social network. To that end, Loews Hotels are now letting users book hotel rooms completely through Twitter, removing the need for an online booking portal. According to USA Today, users need only tweet to @Loews_hotels and use the hashtag #bookloews for an online agent to respond to the tweet and sort out the details. When a rate and dates are settled, the booking agent will send over a secure form for credit card processing.

Now that I’m back on social media, I’m realizing that the answer isn’t necessarily to deprive yourself. It’s better to find a balance and not think of your life as existing in 140 characters or status updates.

Twitter cards make it possible for you to attach media experiences to Tweets that link to your content. Simply add a few lines of HTML to your webpages, and users who Tweet links to your content will have a "card" added to the Tweet that’s visible to all of their followers.
