Today, Apple Computer released new software called Boot Camp that allows owners of new Intel-based Macintosh computers to install Windows XP on their computers. The software will create a separate partition on the Mac’s hard drive for the Windows installation and allows users to select which operating system to load when the Mac boots up. Boot Camp also automatically finds all the necessary device drivers and will burn them to a CD for later use. However, Apple will not be selling or supporting Microsoft Windows and users will need to acquire their own Windows install CD.

Apple users are willing to take a large amount of abuse from the mothership. They will forgive Apple for just about every problem, heck, they will even sing the praises of Apple for the pain they go through.
