Dans ce tutoriel vidéo, vous allez voir comment lire des vidéos et écouter de la musique dans des formats propriétaires, telle que le mp3, sur Ubuntu. En effet, par défaut Ubuntu n’est pas capable de lire ce genre de fichier, ce qui est surprenant étant donné que le MP3 est un format largement utilisé. Le problème n’est pas technique mais légal. Pour faire simple, ceux qui font la distribution Ubuntu ne peuvent pas intégrer directement ces codecs sur le CD d’installation pour des raisons financières et légal.
