PUBLIC MARKS from vista with tag measure

Google has bought blog statistics tracking company Measure Map for an undisclosed sum in a move that bolsters the search giant’s web analytics tools. Jeffrey Veen, co-founder and product manager of Adaptive Path, which built Measure Map, said in a blog post Tuesday that the Measure Map team had moved to the search giant. Internet ad companies have lately increased their focus on web analytics tools to appear more accountable to their customers. Google bought Urchin, a web analytics firm, in March 2005.
