For us, process is at the heart of it all. The idea of Iteration has been instilled in our brains since first year architecture school. With Hot Pop Factory, we are applying the same philosophies to a smaller scale - jewelry. For all the ideas that were too complex, expensive, impractical or just too wild to construct into buildings, we want to make into 3D Printed wearable ART.

Klaus Haapaniemi

Artist Klaus Haapaniemi and designer Mia Wallenius founded a design studio together in January 2010.  Their design approach is influenced by nature, Finnish folklore, fantasy and traditional decorative arts with a modern twist.  Focusing on Klaus Haapaniemi textile collection, they also work in furniture, fashion, books, events and exhibitions,  often collaborating with other designers and studios to create limited edition design pieces.

Spring 2012 collection consists of new models of pants and renewed Scout hoodie. Some fixes and additions has been added to hoodie: additional strokes on seams, longer sleeves and thumb holes, inner pocket for iPhone/iPod, earphones holders inside the hood. Special for spring models we've used lighter type of fabric.
